i am a bit half-baked but i believe that what distinguishes a rocket from a jet is the fact that a rocket carries its' own O², whereas a jet relies upon the atmosphere for its' supply of O². the other propellants may vary. i am no rocket scientist but i liken the feel of vtec to the G-push of a rocket motor.
