i believe that if you have an edge that you can get the ledger to balance in your favor.

i keep three sets of books. one for my wife that shows a slight profit. one for me showing the real profit. and one for the irs showing a loss. just never mix-and-match.

I wonder if Lois ever got scared enough to soil the back of Superman's spiffy outfit.

java, i believe that your are certifiable.

Kickapoo Joy Juice:

A liquor of such stupefying potency that the hardiest citizens of Dogpatch, after the first burning sip, rose into the air, stiff as frozen codfish.

Lonesome Polecat & Hairless Joe: They make Kickapoo Joy Juice- if it needs more body, they throw one in!

perhaps they coulda dug ol' lois outta the hole.

this is for the famous quotes thread:

"but what's yer word, jj, what's yer word?"

soap-on-a-rope if you're doin' time for dope.

it'll come in handy, yes, it will.

Twees

I THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a twee.

A twee whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;

A twee that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A twee that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a twee.

(with apologies to joyce kilmer and elmer fudd.)
