Beeb, you don't miss much, so I might jus' be tellin' you somethin' you're already aware'uv:
That documentary wuz a good example'a maintainin' one'z cover.
Though totally invulnerable to VD, there wuz one individual sittin' through that movie-viewin', who did so only to maintain his secret identity.
Whu'choo've given us beeb, is proof-positive that Superman served in our armed forces in'izz secret-identity.
Y'alwayz come up with good stuff beeb.
(Oh, n' I'd say that this'd hafta be the antonym't flightless, eh?)

very good trivia jj, i did not know that. you would have thought that the war would have ended a lot sooner. what about that super-strain you heard rumors of during the unpleasantness in south-east asia? could he have contracted that?

Whudd'I know about super-strain: . . . lately'att'z jus' tryin'a walk past a boddle'a somethin' cold beeb.
'R, maybe whut my eyez suffer from when some shapely lass enterz my limited field'a vision. (If Mama Java'z witness to it, whut followz is super-pain.)

As I recall though, the only thing that Superman (that one anyway) contracted wuz a case'a CRAFTs disease n'ee forgot to switch into his super-bootz before'ee jumped off'a buildin'. Unfortunately fer him, those bootz were meant fer walkin'.

Neil, izz'att the 3M duct-tape car'r izz'att jus' somebody tryin'a finish'a race?

Hah, sorry bb, I didn't look below the link, thought it was part of the sig. I wish alcohol were involved, rather than way too much work (on a Sunday yet)... But, um, in your reply you did repeat a word, is that legal? Sorry, I have had a whole beer tonight... Supes was faster than the bullet.

Two guys strike up a conversation in a Chicago high-rise bar. The first guy explains that the wind is so strong that you can actually step out from the window and it will hold you up. To prove it, he opens the window and steps out, bouncing around in the gale, then steps back in. The second guy has to try it out so he steps out and immediately plummets to his death. The bartender says to the first guy, "you're a mean drunk, Superman!"

Ahem. Maybe a second beer is in order tonight...

Not by a long-shot Scoot.
Stewie’s exhaust note (even when “on-the-pipe”) izz aboud’z innerestin’z a tax-form (‘Sorry Vez.)
Even when done up with all’a these after-market effortz, all it does is make it sound like so many hormonal Civicz’n their fart-canz.
No.
To sound truly sweet, it’s godda be some Ferrariz (All’a the 12 cylinderz), most big’n small block Amurican Ar’n (All 426 Hemiz, all 421 Ponchoz, all 427, 402’n 406 Chevyz, all 427, 428’n Hemi-429 Fordz’n jus’ about anythin’ Carroll Shelby cared to put’izz name to . . includin’izz chili).
Stewie’z a great li’l car’n’all, but quite frankly, ‘er ‘zaust note has me reachin’ fer the fly-swatter often’z’nott.

Ha, don't try it, the heat'll melt them new plastic bug spankers. My first stewie had an nVidia exhaust, got lots o' complements on it but my darling didn't like travelling with me for the noise... The current s is much easier on the ears, and she goes anywhere with me in it, so it sounds sweet...

Hey, speaking of Sams...
I have that trouble whenever I go to his club, but what doesn't fit in the trunk works in the passenger seat.

this works somewhat unless you actually have a(n) passenger in the passenger seat.

that trunk: it will not hold but one set of golfing clubs.

Truth be told, I've put a medium sized air-conditioner in Stewie'z trunk'n I didn't even have to sidd'onn'itt ta close it.
Stewie'z got faultz, budd'er trunk ain't one'uv'em'z I see it.

i left a word.

i agree, the trunk will hold a good bit; but just one golf bag.

the a/c is fine. it cools well even in the georgia heat and humidity; and it is the humidity. i like the in-dash model myself. the trunk space, while adequate, does not lend itself to being filled with other systems, if you want carrying capacity. is the joisey heat and humidity so severe that you have had to mod the a/c unit. this is a first--i've never seen this on s2k international.

no car is perfect. just about everything in life is a trade-off. the s2000 is no different. either you want to drive it or not. if you want an automatic transmission, a couch to sit on, and a smooth quiet ride, perhaps you should have purchased an accord. however, if you want to rev to 9k, snick through the 6-speed, and make the little girls, but not the tires, scream in the corners, then the s2000 is your car.

i, too, am a humble man, perspiring profusely. it is hot down here.

i enjoy putting the bb on the road, top folded back. i like to watch the orange arc of the tach as the rpm climb; the glow of the digital numerics as speed increases; to arrive at vtec for ever so brief a moment; then to shift again and hurtle down the road.

it is just simple fun to drive this car. simple man, simple fun. not a simple car.

jagg: can you get more than one set of golf clubs in the s2000 trunk?
