I like the way the curves of the car and road play against each other.
Nice effect.

Thanks. I'm working on technique more than ever.
I was really into photography back in the old days, you know 35MM. It got way too expensive and I backed off. Now that digital has taken over and I have just bought a DSLR with a couple of extra lenses, I'm getting hooked again.

Probably my all time favorite. I can watch part of it for a few minutes and still chuckle. "They quote Byron and Shelly, then jump on my belly and bust my balloon".

Digital is great because you can experiment without spending money on film and processing. But my favorite camera is still the old Nikon F3.

I had 2 Minoltas a 101 and a 201. Both great cameras. Before that a Yashica and before that an Argus C3. Now that goes back a ways.

The C3 was the most popular camera ever. I still run across them at camera shows and flea markets. My first camera was an Argus A2. I was twelve. Been a lot of cameras under the bridge since then. Shot a lot of magazine stuff with an Asahi Pentax smuggled inside a race car from Japan.

The Pentax had the usual 55mm and I used a couple of cheap (Soligor) lenses for wide and tele shots.

Kent, CT

We (Stewie Baby and Mrs Pablo) took a drive yesterday to Connecticut. Some pretty countryside up near Kent. Here are a couple of photos. Gotta try and show those guys out there in Cali that we have nice scenery here in the East too!.....LOL

Grounds for Sculpture

Mrs Pab and I recently took Stewie Baby on a trip to a place called Grounds for Sculpture. It's a nice place to visit if you are into sculpture and also landscape architecture. Admission is $10. I'd like to say the ride there was as nice as the sculpture park, but it is not. Maybe folks coming from other places would do better but the Belt Parkway, Outerbridge Crossing and I 95 are not my idea of great roads for the "S". Grounds For Sculpture is in Hamilton, NJ which is near Trenton. Here are a couple of photos:

Went to the J. Paul Getty Villa. It's based on a Roman village discovered under ash from Mt. Vesuvius near Pompeii.
