for those of you who know me know I'm into building model cars, so on my trip to the model shop to get supplies I found this setting behind some crappy models!!!
This will look great next to the model of the S2000 I built also, and it's cheaper then the one I was going to buy online Hey at least something went my way, right Java |

That is cool. I have seen that one before. I was just looking in my closet today and saw the box with the S800 by Tamiya. The price sticker said I paid $26.00 for it. I bought it a few years back, but never got around to putting it together.

'Dis is a good t'ing Hell.
You can go insane mod on the models n' hopefully Stewie'll be (relatively anyway) safe from the "Godda-got-more" urges that you've apparently inherited . . . . mmm-m-m-m-m-m-maybe. Although, truth be told . . I've got this currently dusty mis-match'a Sears, Snap-On, Matco n' a cast'a "thousands" out in my garage that I've been slowly bringin' back ta usefulness, that's been callin' my name for some time now n', I ain't exactly sure whut . . but somethin'z sure'z @*#&'s gonna be gettin' "upgraded". So, you know that while I bust, I'm familiar with the urge. N' if nothin' else, sortin' out the garage might allow me ta relocate a missin' rock-crusher. Be well, Java

HOW - Got any models that you just never assemble? I bought this one 45 years ago. Just recently re-found it. I think I never built it because it's just too conservative for my taste. Maybe I'll get around to it someday.....

Thats cool Morg ... Do you want a REAL S800? I know someone who has an all stock 1968 S800 and he will probably let it go for about 15k ... maybe a little less.

Ok, you got my attention with this one, Jagg. That appears to be a '57 El Camino, but I know better. Somebody doing surgery on a Nomad with the old X-acto knife?

Hey Hell, are all your models scattered all over your livin' quarters 'r are they pretty much in a large "gatherin'" spot?
I wuz jus' thinkin' that the way you run through buildin' 'em, the number'a units you've amassed mus' be impressive n' a group shot would make a terrific flick. If nothin' else it'd keep these sharp-eyed eagles busy pickin' out stuff fer a month'a Sunday'z. (Wuzzatt a 1923 Rolls-Cunardly behind that '32 bucket?) Y'know? Anxiously awaitin' your 7. Java

Java's on the money here, H.O.W.
I can see it now..... "Hey is that a Kaiser Darrin? or an El Dorado?" someone responds, "No Dummy, It's Dr. Jimbo's Vee Dub....I had no idea that they turned it into a model." Good Stuff, jagg |

Java, I'll be posting a "group shot" shortly, I mostly have them here and there I had one place for them but well....I out grew that quick LOL
Sometimes I give them to friends and family some get kit bashed for other projects down the road, some get busted and go into my "junk yard" box but to me its the journey, the process of the building of the model the finished project is just gravy, its a Zen thing I have to keep busy or I start taking my car apart (should have seen my dads garage and all the things I tried to "fix" and couldn't put together) |
