that's about the right amount of time...has to be installed, fitted and tested and that takes time.

How long have you had the car? I'm just wondering what kind of warranty is on the top.

Rock, ya godda geddaway from how long it's takin' n' dwell on the "no-cost" aspect'uvitt.
Under warranty'z a great thing, but unfortunately, customerz with green in their hot liddle hands go to the head'a the class. You, my friend, waitin' on your free top, will not be takin' your business elsewhere. Somebody with cash-in-hand might. Money talks pal. Money talks. Repeat after me: ain't costin' me nothin' . . . ain't costin' me nothin' . . . ain't costin' me nothin' . . Be well, Java

Hey Rocket!!!!!
Don't forget, it's not like the tech has done this job a zillion times....It'll likely take several hours more for him to complete the job.......but he'll still only get paid the 9 hours to do it. Flat rate can be a curse to a mechanic. He also is likely being pulled off your job to do something else every couple of hours.......as I'm sure it's not the only car they have to work on in the shop. Rest assured, as a warranty job (a ballbuster one at that) it's not getting highest priority......Relax, be patient......it'll work out. I'd be edgy too, not having my Stewie in my posession. Remember, if you had to pay for this job-------big time $$$. The wait is worth the savings. jagg |
