Music in S2K
Just wondering...you guys are always good for off topic discussions.
What was the first CD/Tune etc you played in your S2K? I got mine home, put the top down, went in the house, grabbed a CD and went for a ride.....CCR "Willy and the Poor Boys". Just grabbed the first one off the rack I came to....but it turned out to be an Excellent Choice for the first cruise!

Simple one for me.
Went to my old daily driver, and grabbed the only non-MP3 CD that was in there: Dragonforce - Inhuman Rampage

Heard that ole Hank died....funny, I still hear him singing on the radio now and then...somebody needs to tell him to quit it...it's hard to sing when you're dead...

Sirius radio for me. If I listen to a CD, it is usually Sammy Hagar or Van Halen. Sometimes Jimmy Buffett.

"Woke up, fell out of bed.
Dragged a comb, across my head. Found my way downstairs, and drank a cup. 'N looking up, I noticed I was late. Found my coat, and grabbed my hat. Made the bus, in seconds flat. Found my way upstairs, and had a smoke. 'N somebody spoke, and I went into a dream." Regards, Paul |

I think it was "Man in the Box" by Alice in Chains. Seems oddly appropriate.

First thing I listened to was the only non-MP3 disc I had laying around from highschool days (Linkin Park's first record).
Upon arriving home I promptly swapped decks with my old car, and removed the radio antenna since I've not listened to on-air broadcasts in about 8 years. To you real old-timers: Strictly on a talent and dexterity basis you guys might want to give Dragonforce a listen to (saw them mentioned earlier). This video is their first single and gives some good close-ups of their playing about 2/3 through the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3H4liC2sWg Last edited by Kalm_Traveler; 01-25-2008 at 09:42 PM. |
