Fuel light-how many miles?
My fuel light goes on almost every time at 225 miles in my normal, around town driving. It usually takes about 10.75 gallons (Give or take) to fill up. I guess I have a couple of gallons left at that point.
How 'bout you all? |

I was gonna say "Y'all". I lived in Tennessee for a few years too. I figured most people would think "wtf?"

Is Java makin fun of other peoples wording? haha classic. No, to most of us red neck americans y'all is a acceptable "slang" term. Ask President Bush, he will tell you I'm correct in between snortin lines of coke and slappin around Laura.

Dr Jimbo - I ditto your experience. Almost without fail when the "gas tank" symbol shows up it's 225 on the odo and 10.7 gallons at the pump.

does anybody check their oil with any frequency? i check the oil and tire pressure just about everytime i take my girl out. i have added 8 ounces of oil in my 3200 miles, and my dipstck is down about a diamond right now. i understand that the car will use a little oil. what is your oil consumption?

I hit the twistys above Malibu. Lots of 2nd and 3rd gear corners. Just filled up. 214 miles 9.5 gals. A little over 22. I like to fill up when the tank gets down to half. Less condensation and less looking for a good price on premium gas.

Okay, okay, I um-m-m-m , , , almost always get 20 to a gallon.
But I really think that traffic has alot ta doo with my small . . . er-r-r . . numbers. If ya spend time on the brakes n' then havin' to reaccelerate, ya jus' ain't gonna go'da the head'a the class with mileage. bb, as fer addin' any oil: very, very infrequently n' only when I'm lookin' ta spend quality time with Stewie (n' make the neighbors think that I might actually know whut I'm lookin' at under Stewie'z hood). Currently got about 33 on'a clock. Tire pressures: especially in the back n' forth temps that we're gettin' of late (60'z at lunch n' 20'z by dawn) I spend alodda time adjustin' 'em, especially if I'm goin' out fer a ride. Java

I don't use my brakes all that much. I prefer to use the gears and just touch the brakes to set up my line. But then I'm not in a hurry and just try to hold a smooth line. Michael Schumacher isn't threatened by me. I just like to drive the damn car!

My first tank got about 200 miles on it, roughly 19mpg but it was my first 'real VTEC' car heh...
Since then I'm always getting 24-26 depending on how many *ahem* "spirited drives" happen. This usually is about 240-250 miles til the "you're about to get stranded" light comes on. |

damn I'm only getting 180mpg to the tank. I do live in NYC though, so that stop and go traffic definitely kills me. I have recently changed the PCX filter with my oil change, I changed the cabin filter (doubt this affects anything) and I changed my Air Filter.
Still the gas mileage is NOT that great, and I hardly ever hit those corners hard nor do I hit vtec alot. Anywayz, my 00 has 91k on it, so I guess now its time to check those damn spark plugs |

I don't check my mileage anymore. The price of premium has me ticked off and I don't want to think about it any more than I have to. $3.80 per gallon this afternoon. That's the highest for me so far. How 'bout ch'all?

It's $4.33 self serve premium at the station at the corner by my house. The Shell I go to: $4.09. So quit'jer bitchin' dj!
I've been riding my Kona mountain bike to work. In 3 weeks I've saved about $120 in gas, and lost 8 lbs (round trip gives me about an hour of cardio). But after a long day, I'd rather slide behind the wheel of the S.

Just filled up today. $3.97 was the cheapest I could find. Diesel $4.39. Got 26 on my flower shoot and a lot of that was hard driving. Normally between 20-22.
