Driving Music
I am putting together a small CD collection for driving. I currently have the Beatles 1 cd, Notorious BIG's Ready to Die, some AC/DC, Marley, some classical music...
What do you listen to in your car, that gets you pumped up, to relax, to cruise..? anything is good... |

As stated in the other thread:
Sirius radio for me. If I listen to a CD, it is usually Sammy Hagar or Van Halen. Sometimes Jimmy Buffett.

I love cruising with Guns 'N' Roses in the background... throw on a little Appetite For Destruction and I'm ready to cruise.

Oh man, I have thousands of songs downloaded. But, what really gets me pumped is the music they play at air shows. I have my cds categorized - just as you said - pumped, relaxing, etc.
The pump one has: Crystal Method & Chemical Brothers- Megamix and also I think that's part of a soundtrack for "Gone in Sixty Seconds". Then there's Grand Funk Railroad - Jungle Boogie, also Free Ride is a good one. ZZ Top - La Grange and Tush. The Top Gun Theme is good, too. That's some pumping music! For just relaxing I like Beach/Shag Music ( I'm from the East Coast), Reggae, R&B/Soul, Los Lonely Boys is good, Van Morrison, etc. I love music - all kinds. |

I like my XM because of the options: have a mood, pick a channel... But I have backup CDs varying from Franz Ferdinand to Rush to the London Phil doing Jethro Tull
