S2000 Update - Also, Meetups?

Ok so still have a 3rd S2000... Just hit 75k miles... No major problems yet.. When its cold though and I first start it I get a brief sort of grinding noise everytime.. Dealer says they can't replicate it... of course. Also I recently started using it as my company car, driving about 150 miles a day (of joy) for my new company, www.findsomethingfun.com where you can get meetups together. Works great cuz everyone asks what the company is about when they see the car. Oh and my Eagle F1s have lasted 15k miles and still have decent tread left, dunno how with how I take corners..

My car makes that same grinding noise from time to time, as does my parents' Grand Am. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what it is, but I do know what you're talking about.

I also hear a grinding noise once in a while. I think it's my teeth when I have to pull into a gas station. Might be my bones as I'm getting older and older and older.............

Yeah the gas station sucks... I love my car and love driving it, and don't care much about the depreciating value, since I plan on keeping it until something falls off that prevents me from driving it anymore, so since I drive it so much I have to fill up every other day, given that the tank only takes me about 250 miles... I really, really hate getting gas.. I got my car back from the dealer today from the oil change and they said they were able to replicate the grinding, but it was too brief to tell what it was. I will however, be leaving it with them again before my warranty runs out and it will stay there until they figure out what it is...

Wow, this must be a common thing. Mine makes the grinding noise when starting everytime I leave it outside when its cold. I thought it was my starter or something. Great knowing that Im not crazy and its something other people have too.
