It looks like a slalom course without the snow. Could it be a track of some sort? I swear, I did not help Java Photoshop this image.

it looks like a road in the lower part of Germany with the signs and only the germans would build a road so perfect like this. And one reason it might not have any tire marks on it is because germans are all about the autobahn and going fast, not drifting some hill in the middle of no where. but its all just a guess, hell its probably in Iowa or something

Well, even with the angle'a the shot, it evidently does transit a considerable elevation in a short run, so on a realistic solution to the problem'uv gettin' a liddle more gradually up n' down that hill, short'uv'a vehicle-ski-lift, it'd seem ta be legit.
But with the likes'uv us aroun', they'd probably have to limit it's use to drivers: only one up-n'-down a day. I'd think that set'a switchbacks'd make the Dragon Run look positively unpopulated. Java In fer'a penny, in fer'a pound. ![]()

It kinda looks like a road in the Swiss Alps that I saw driven by 3 exotic cars
on a Brit car show the other night.

Maybe the contractor that built it got paid by the foot. Had to squeeze as much as he could into a short space?
Maybe the guy driving the paver was drunk? Maybe it's a model? Sure looks real.

All I know is that if anyone ever found out where that road is they better let me know. That would be such a blast to drive.

Top Gear - I like that show (just started watching it a few months ago) and that particular episode was really good. Makes you want to go to Switzerland and tame their curves.
As for the pic. Let me know when you find out Java. The closest i've come to some nice curves in Texas is FM 2222/Mt. Bonnel road in Austin. Most drive fenatics in Texas should know what i'm talkin' about, if not take your S there this weekend and you'll drive home with a new appreciation for the S. |

N' Brett . . . I don't wanna hear it. 'Tempted ta come out fer a visit with a tanker full'a straightener n' rid ya'a some'a those problematic curls. You've been set on High-gloat since ya got here n'att'z jus' not . . . well . . 's'not fair. 'Think I'll jus' go out n' play in traffic. Java

Jagg, there are streight roads everywhere and I would kill to have some curves! LOL. And because of all the streight roads we have COPS/TROOPERS EVERYWHERE! EVERYBODY is in a hurry in Houston. I wish I were where you are cause I know you have some mountainous areas where you can truely appreciate how Stewie handles. On the bright side there are plenty of areas in Texas where the speed limit is 80mph (hwy) and DPS is often leanient if they clock you at <90. I Love IT!!
HWY 2222 is probably a bunny course comapred to where some of you guys live (CA, VA, WA, MA, TN). Heck I dont'e even know what a mountain looks like let alone drive on one and I have never seen snow..... thats Houston for you. |
