My first S2K road trip

So I just got home from my first road trip with Jessica (my s2k's name). I went to vist my girlfriend at her college (Salisbury University) it's about a 3 hour drive from my house. The drive up there on friday sucked, it rained the whole drive and I was miserable. So the trip did'nt start out that good. But saturday it cleared up and I took some of her very cute friends for a ride. They loved it. So today I drove back home and it was blue skies and even though it was a little cold it was top down the whole three hours home. All in all a good weekend.

Sounds like a good trip over all.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Is it not amazin' how a little top-down, even in not the best'a conditions, can salvage a jus' about bummer anything Sonic.
(Though, the turnin' point'a the weekend sounds like it may've been a wee bit earlier than the trip home n' the top-down might'a jus' been necessary ta bring ya back down ta normal operatin' temperatures.)
'Really glad it turned out ta be a great weekend Sonic.

THIS now..This is proper S2000 usage. A young man taking cute girls for rides. You poor bastard!
Advance 30 years and this is how I feel with the bride in the seat next to me. No change from the old spitfire days when I was 17. Actually she came along in the TR6 days. The feelings the same though the car has changed.
I might add, that the inverse can also be true, except when the bride is driving I am usually hanging on the WOJESUS bar praying. She isnt shy about driving.

Ah yes, the good old days are now for many. Hey H2O, did you start the itch with a Spitfire as well. I went from there to a TR4, through the German scene and while looking to go back to the Triumph stumbled on the S2000. I haven't stopped smiling yet.

Ah-h-h-h-h . . WP, another proof-positive of the infamous "Stewie-grin".
'We all fall victim tooitt.
('Sounds like more'n'a few'uv us've gone the A.H./TR/Spit route ta wind up here too. Maybe that's why, on this site anyway, when names like Studebaker, Jensen, Hudson n' such come up, there ain't so much head-scratchin' n' 'splainin' goin' on. 'Works fer me.)

I'm pretty sure my dad's MGA started the itch in about 1964. I got a spitfire in about 72. Then a succession of roadsters including an MGB, TR6, Fiat 124 spyder, bunch of bikes, bunch of sedans, some 4x4's and utes and finally back to the beginning again.
Never lost the roadster itch for a minute though. Now I know of a TR250 which is killin me cuz I can't have it. My friend Billy had one back in the day. I had the spit. I WANTED a 250. That was like 35 years ago and I STILL want one.
