I wreaked

Hey guys,

ok so where to start.. I wreaked about 3 weeks ago, just being stupid taking a 90degree angle turn out in the middle of nowhere too fast.. hit the guard rail twice.. Didnt have insurance covering it.. I bought the car cash and put liability..

damage:
damaged the quarter panel passenger (tore it up pretty bad)
My rear bumper flew off (veilside
Front bumper cracked (veilside)
PS fender was damaged completly
PS tail light shattered

blew my PS tire
snapped the PS knuckle
snapped the axle thing that comes out of the pinion

the reason i didnt post this before was because I wanted to get the car fixed up completly before i posted.. lol

Well i have great connections around here and tons of friends.. My buddy came with his trailer and we got the car to his house... b4 the cops came or anything..

So Right after the accident I got rite to work and fixed all the mechanical issues. Since I have just about every single part for my S' as spare in my garage this wasnt too hard. Went home the next day got all the parts i needed. replaced everything that was broken.. took me 14 hours..

Next day around 5pm I was done.. Got the bumper back on and put my spare tail light in..

Then I ordered a new veilside kit.. the widebody one this time.. dropped everything off at my favorite body shop.. and now 3weeks from the accident the car IS MINT FRESH yet again...

quick recovery, horrible lesson learned.... NOW the car lloooks amazing.. GOt it painted superwhite (BMW paint) Has the wide body look...

I will post pics soon..

You used "wreaked" and "90 degree" in the same sentence. I thought you were hot & sweaty and smelled bad (wreaked).
Sorry to hear about the car but it sounds like you handled it well and made it better than it was before. Can't wait to see the pix. I guess you'll have to change your avatar.

This thread will be judged as useless until we see before and after pics.
Luckily you had all of these things sitting around, good choice on the white!

Wow you're lucky. With my luck, the cops would have been there as it happened. Nice to know its all fixed up and good luck in the future.

Glad you were wearing the seat belt. Ya might want to get a little more practice before you tackle the country roads of southern Virginia.

Be careful out there!

Did you need a new "S 2000" emblem for it or do you prefer not to have it on?

Hmm, isn't there normally a logo behind the front side marker lights? But now I look closer and see you don't have one on the driver side either, so I'm thinking it's intentional... At first I thought you just didn't put it back on the PS fender.
