They're Everywhere!
Hemi-Chargerz gang, specifically; Hemi-Chargerz runnin' on township gas.
'N they're spoilin' fer a rumble. I don't know how'id'izz in everybody else'z sphere'uv influence, but, here in Joisey it'z like Daimler-Chrysler'z been puttin' Hemi-Chargerz in boxez'a Cracker Jackz n' droppin'em off at the municipalitiez by the palletful. Whudd'I think,'izz'att the carz're bein' "floor-planned" to the municipalitiez for 2, possibly 3 monthz. After that the municipalitiez godda pay for'em. So, 'z'near'z I kin figger . . . the municipalitiez're tryin'a make payment durin'att grace period via the Hemi-Chargerz forte: blendin' inta traffic'n pullin' down speederz. Keep yer eyez open folkz. 'Att might be jus' another well liveried John Q. . . 'r . . . . 'might jus' be John Law. If I may read from the book of that immortal mother-hen, Sgt. Phil Esterhauz: "Letz be careful out there". Java

Yep, it's the pickup trucks without overhead lights that get people around here lately. See one coming, ignore it 'cause it's just a pickup, then the in-cab lights come on and it's a different feeling entirely - or so I imagine from my wild days of dodgin' tickets.

SoundMan21-My father sells industrial instruments and one of the products he sells is alarm horns for refineries. He gave me one and we put it in the Miata that I had about 10 years ago. It claimed to be loud enough to be heard over a 747 at take off. We placed it under the hood and mounted an extra battery to supply the power. The horn itself was about a foot long and it fit fine in the Miata. I used that thing all the time and it was so loud. Imagine a train horn and times it by at least 5. It was so lound that I could barely stand it. Nobody could believe that a Miata had a horn that loud. I used it one too many times and actually got a ticket for disturbing the peace and a fix it ticket to take it off the car. I took it off and then put it in again. I eventually took it off the car when I sold it but it was a blast scaring the shit out of people. In retrospect, it wasn't the safest thing to do but it was fun.

It was really fun but the horn costs about $5000 and I got it free because my Dad owns the company and he got it returned because it was a damaged unit. We mounted it to a home made bracket and placed a car battery next to it. The Miata has a ton of room under the hood unlike our stewies so there was no problem with space. I was a typical 21 year old jerk so I'd ride people's asses and then blast them. Also, if people would ride my ass I would let them get in front of me and then blast them. The best was letting her go in a covered parking lot, it would set off all the car alarms on the level. I used to do this at UCLA and then at SF State, it was great!!!

Yer'a sick puppy J. (Yeah. I know. Some set, eh?)
Jus'z long'z yuh don't get sick in my neighborhood. Okay, jus' fer the sake'a stayin' in the conversation: in lesser-qualified "wake-the-dead" hornz, whut'z the most make'em-*@&#-their drawerz hornz out there? N' sky, with me it's alwayz been Volvoz, n' of late, Saabz n' Saturnz. Now, I godda admit that I've met at least one Volvo-rider whut kin kind'a drive, but, among bikerz, (Volvo driverz're so inta bein' driftin', road-goin' tortoises that they've garnered mention in bike magazines. If I may be permitted ta quote: "Beware Volvoz. Even parked Volvoz.") they''re'z avoided'z oil-spillz. Java

Look I dont call myself thesoundman for nothin. Cash with me is almost always in short supply but believe you me when I have it I typically will spend more on others than myself.....(besides the car). But I am quite serious I know where a pneumatic one right now that would fit under the hood. But I need a compressor and some other stuff to run it. Im not much of a prick on the road as I used to be but still there are some of those people on the road you want to just let them have it. And the covered parking ya I would just find them with friends on a Friday or Sat. night and blast it.
