FLAT TOWING
I own a motor home and a 2004 s2000. I would like to flat tow the s2000 behind the RV. Does anyone know if flat towing will do damage to the drive train?
Thank you |

Generally when you flat tow a rear wheel drive vehicle a lengthy distance, the drive shaft is disconnected. This does two things...it keeps the transmission from being constantly exercised and it keeps you from adding mileage to your odometer...(buy or rent a 2 wheel tow from U-Haul and tow the S2000 by the rear wheels...lock the steering wheel with the wheels straight..(how in the world with diesel at $5/gal and motorhomes getting about 3 mpg can anyone go anywhere in a motorhome? Just asking, you know...
