Just wondering....
How often do you get on your car? I know they're built to be driven hard, but I hate getting on my car really cause I don't want to mess it up. Just wanna know how often you all get on your s2's and if there's anything I should know. Appreciate it.

Kat, mine'z'a daily driver'n I get on it hard every day. Maybe not for extended periods, but certainly I've godditt maxed out at least once'r twice'a day.
Exclusivity aside, Stewie'z'a Honda. It'z got Honda design, Honda tech, Honda partz'n, from the factory (as much'z'itt ranklez this ol' Ford guy) they're damn-near bullet proof. Now keep in mind that they're also designed for max efficiency. Read that as: the least amount'a weight/meat necessary'da doo the job. So, while abusive use'a Stewie is taken pretty much in stride, Stewie won't take kindly to venturin' past that into real screw-up territory. Be well, Java

Cars were meant to be driven. i get on mine good at least once every time I am in it, take it to the track a couple times a year. Every time I go to the track, I get unbelievable gas mileage afterward, the last time 320 miles on a tank when average is 250.

Pretty much every day. I commute 25 miles each way, and if I don't get a chance to have fun during the grind, the last mile home always contains at least a half mile chance to open it up. VTEC each day keeps the mechanic away!

I probably only go into vtec only about once every few days. Its actually kinda good to push it every so often cause you clear out carbon deposits.

True. Also make sure you only use good gas to limit those carbon deposits. I only use Shell 93 V-Power. Use the best you can get. Your car will thank you.

Really? What stations do you guys have over there? I do like the gas. If I wasn't risking getting arrested I would send ya some. Lol

I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area in California and the Shell (and every other station) carries a max of 91 octane. I found a place in Sac that has 94 but I've never tried it...Anyways, I "vtec" at least once every time I drive her but only after letting the engine get up to the normal operating temp for a few minutes/miles. I make sure to do one extended vtec drive at least once a week where I go down HWY 35 or Crytals Springs Road and stay at the top of 2nd or 3rd as much as I can. I know my gas mileage suffers but it's so much fun and the engine just begs for it. The one thing I have never done is dump the clutch on a launch. I am tempted but I respect Stewie too much to hurt, or potentially hurt the rear end.
