hey i'm kind of nervous about this i'm in the air force and this is going 2 be my first big storm down here in FL. anyone got any advice? i live on base in the dorms and unfortunatly i don't have a garage or a cover for my S

but thats what insurence is for. i'm not to worried about having a batery operated radio cuz we got the giant voice system on base 2 tell me what to be concerned about. thanks for the help

At minimal buy a nice car cover, or better yet a hard top!!

well i just bought the car used like 3 months ago. its an 03 with 52k miles when i got it. and it had a slight ripe in the top in the right top corner where it starts 2 curve down. it dosn't leak though i have some sealing compound on it. so maby i can get lucky and the storm could jack up my top and i could get a new one for free

that would be nice, seeing how the military pays for damage that accuser on base from natural disasters!

but i ment tips more along the lines of taking care of my self. or is this not really all that bad. the air force is making it seam like its a huge deal but idk. like i said never been down here for anyting this big yet.

Its not much. After living in florida for 24 years, you think of it as another thunder storm. Take precaoutions, but dont over exaggerate. You will be fine young grasshiopper!
