L.A. Auto Show

Anyone go to the Auto Show in LA this weekend? My bro and I took the S down the coast and hit it up. Some great cars and concept cars. The Honda CRZ was pretty sweet and is supposed to hit the streets in the next year or two. I hope they leave it the way it is. You know how concepts can look so cool at the show, and by the time it gets to the consumer, they've watered it down so much it looks like every other car on the road. Example: the Chevy Volt concept looked really cool. They had one at the show (I guess it's the one that will hit the streets) and it looked like a Honda Accord with a makeover. I was not impressed.
Honda had a yellow S but I was surprised they didn't have a CR instead. Man, watching those kids crawl all over that S sent shivers down my spine. They were treating it like a piece of playground equipment.
The new Camaro looked pretty bitchin'. They had a black one with a wicked red lighted ring around the headlights (like BMW's "angel eyes"). That was a nice looking car. I'd take the Nissan GT-R though. That car just oozes testosterone. 480 horses and 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Sign me up! The Audi R8 would look nice in my garage too.

Didn't go, I live 2000 miles away, but I can almost visualize the cars you're describing. I'm sure I'll have a better idea what they look like after you post the pictures, right?

If I could figure out how to resize them, I'd toss some on the thread.

To resize them, just right click and open the pictures with Windows "paint", and when it opens press ctrl+W, then its gunna give u the option of wat size u want it, I normally just press 80, then tab and 80 again. To give me an idea of how small i need to make it. You can always press ctrl+z to "UNDO" wat ever u just did.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Doc, set up an account in one of the image hosting sites like Photobucket or Picturetrail. It makes sticking a photo on your post easy and speedo.

The article/blog:

With today's news that Nissan's dropping out of both the Detroit Auto Show and the Chicago Auto Show, joining a slew of other automakers fearful of the Carpocalypse, we figured it was a good day to take a look at what the Detroit Auto Show floor may look like come January.

Frankly, there's some pretty big holes up there on our map. We don't have the foggiest idea what's going to happen with a few of the big names — specifically Chrysler and GM — and we also don't know what this means for some of the other more "alternative" names — like Changfeng and the rest of the Chinese takeout menu of minor up-and-coming automakers. Take a look and tell us if we're missing anything. We'll update the floor map as we hear more.
