Caffeine withdrawal headache? It used to happen to me if I slept too much and therefore went too long without coffee. Mostly green tea now, no problems...

I'm there too. Considering trading 'er in, for lower payments, insurance, and gas prices. Sacrilege, I know, but it actually is that bad after our last downsizing and salary cuts last week. Yeah, my stress level is higher than I have ever known, so I'm not rushing into anything. But the monthly take-home is less than the monthly list of house, credit card, utility, and car bills, so something's gotta give.

A couple of things come to mind Jessa, try looking at the big picture. I know it sounds corny but don't add to your stress level by additonal debt, and living beyond your means. The workplace will always have some stress, but if your personal life is kinda stress free then you should be o.k.
I have some younger employees that always seem to complain about next to nothing.
When we work down at the cancer clinics, the complaining stops for some reason ?

Like I said, you just have to embrace it. Accept it as part of your reality.
It's never going to go away. You either cope with it , or you self destruct. If you can take the stress and turn it into productivity, you'll always succeed. Some people thrive in this environment, and some people don't.

If you're one of those that don't, then you have to start thinking career change.

There's always the tried and true get drunk and get laid mechanisim.
This works for me when things get especially tough.

(i'm not trying to be a perv here, but speakin' the truth)

well I was on my twitter account earlier and the perfect quote was up from Ryan Seacrest (american idol host)

RyanSeacrestQuote of the Day: “If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it. The more things you do, the more you can do.” - Lucille Ball

This made me stop and realize hey I wouldnt be given all these things making me stress and freak out if I couldnt handle it... SOoOoO... I am trying to embrace it as suggested... Plus I had a little help getting my thoughts out over the past few days

So I'll figure it out.

I can also relate to jagg ... "high tempo" environment. Im in Airman leadership school cuz i made Staff Sgt for my next promotion. They cram 10 credit sem hrous in just 5 weeks. On top of that i have to out process offutt afb due to my orders of korea so moving out is going to suck!

well I decided since I am just sitting here deleting I could be a little more productive, so i'm making calls, scheduling appts, figuring out summer classes, new house hunting options... condo or apt... idk yet...

eh got my trusty calendars out and working on my own things, guess this is the hint and time I was given to get things done.

I just feel bad right now cause all my other co workers are doing my work since i cant get any emails to help anyone... LOL

Saturday is supossed to be okay but Sunday I think y'all are in for some heavy weather starting sometime Saturday night - 50 percent chance of t-storms, possibly severe. I've been watching the weather since the GF and I are planning a short roadtrip to Crockett on Saturday. Looks like we'll miss most of it until Sunday, (80 % here in DFW) but it moves in faster down your way. Hopefully it will knock the rest of the smoke out of the air.

So i finally got the STI back this weekend and didnt do ANYTHING I had planned on... making plans seems to be a bad idea for me. We were going to go to the HIN after Olive garden with some friends and decided to go to Dave and Busters instead. Not really sure why but whatever I guess... We had drinks at OG then went to D&B and had more drinks, played games...hit 500 tickets on one thing sucked at racing game, I came in 4th LOL hit walls and all... sooo bad...and 3rd in Basketball. Then we played Shuffleboard, drank some more, came home suppose to go to AutoX this AM woke up to 630 alarm hungover... took meds and turned it off... woke up at 2 and didnt get outta bed till 3... and watched DVR'd shows all day... so sad... but nice change from my fast pace weekends lately. Just thought i'd share...havent really done much posting lately but i'm still ALIVE!!!
