DMV AUDIT
Has anyone ever been audited by DMV in New York? When I went to register my car (I just bought my 02 s2000), the guy doing my registration and sales affidavit said he listed my as a possible audit. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of this, and how long it takes for you to be notified. Is there a tiem frame that they look for these, and then if they don't audit you by that time you are okay ( say 2 months after you register)?
Any help would ease my mind and nervous stomach. Thanks |
