Questions about what comes with a new S2000

Ok, I just bought a used '04 S2000. I was wondering what came with it. What I got was one car (lol), one quick start guide, one warranty book, one owner's manual, one master key, one valet key, and one remote. Is is suppose to come with two master keys and two remotes? Also, the convertible top cover isn't in the trunk. Is that suppose to come with it also?

If it were new I would think yes to both questions.
As it is used, if it wasn't part of the deal, then you may have a hard time getting them from the previous owner.

You should have two remotes.
If you haven't got two remotes I would seriously consider getting the alarm changed (and maybe even the locks) as there is another remote out there somewhere that will unlock your car.

As for the "tonneau cover". A lot of people I know have sold them on ebay because they don't like them.
A bit daft if you ask me. I've never had any problems with mine.

There's one here.

Or you could take the opportunity to go for a real bling CF one...

Well, the previous owner was in New York and I'm in New Orleans, so I doubt there will be car stealing here, but I was wondering if it's ok to drive around without the convertible top cover on.

Good point, and yes. You will find most owners do not bother with the cover.
