I canceled the deal as this guy has a problem accepting a money order for payment.

Dude, a money order is the same as cash...I don't know why you should have a problem with that. You can go to any bank and cash a money order...I wouldn't carry around that much money either when I really don't knonw the seller personally. I know the guy who was going to buy it and he's totally honest. He just doesn't like to carry cash with him. I don't blame him (I rarely carry cash, I only carry plastic)

I used to be a teller at wells Fargo Back in the day, and we had people come in with fake money orders all the time. ABSOLUTELY NOT saying that's what was going on here, but I personally wouldn't accept one either, unless we went to the bank before the transaction together to cash it. An honest buyer shouldn't have a problem with that (again, I'm NOT pointing fingers...) And I totally understand the not carrying cash/wanting evidence of the transaction, so simply meeting up at a bank seems like the best way all around to do the transaction.

The bank will cash a money order but if it bounces you won't find out until your next statement. By then the perp is long gone and you are on the hook. Not pointing fingers here either.

One scam going around is someone sending you a bank check for more than the amount you want to sell something for and requesting a refund of the difference. His check or money order eventually bounces, but yours didn't. Lots of crooks out there.

A Postal money embossed with the USPS logo and water marks is equal to the cash it was bought with. I tried to explain this to the mental giant selling this bumper. I do need a new bumper or a new spoiler and will get one but I will buy it new from a reputable dealer. Not an idiot.

I actually like that front end and I usually don't go for that stuff. Personally, I would have it painted, but it still looks nice.

As for the deal above, let's let the people involved go about their separate ways and each can find someone else to deal with. No hurt feelings.

Like previous guy said, I dont mean to get into it, but I work for Wachovia and we ARE NOT allowed to cash money orders (of any kind..postal/walmart/etc.) or even Certified checks. Hell, we are already seeing fake stimulus checks coming in.

Back to topic, I would like further pics if it is still available.
