OEM are 360cc i believe, 440 are able to deliver more fuel, with a stock set up im not sure if there are any real benefits. i just know for my turbo set up i needed larger ones. can anyone chime in in helping me anwser lonestar's question completely. thinking $250 including shipping and tracking.

im not real familiar with stock s2k computer but yes i would think it would be slightly richer, i have a AEM computer so the tuner can adjust the A/F. for turbo or SC i think larger injectors are a must, thou some running low psi have run stock.

The mixture should not be richer. Ideally the air/fuel ratio is 14.7 to 1. When you use a blower, you're forcing more air and therefore need more fuel. If set up correctly, the air/fuel ratio will stay the same but you have increased volume. The result is higher cylinder pressure, thus, more power.

Edit - The air/fuel ratio (14.7 to 1) is the stock setup for most vehicles and the ideal ratio for lowest emissions. The best ratio for power is slightly richer, in a range around 12.8:1 to 13.2:1. If you have emissions testing in your area, this may be a problem.

but if i do nothing to the air (no FI), but i add larger injectors, that would cause a more rich fuel mixture, correct? I understand that if you add FI, you need to balance it out with more fuel, my questions hinge on not having FI - what would happen?

Same air flow (no FI) with larger injectors (more fuel) will probably result in too rich. Doubtful performance improvement and definite loss of fuel economy.

Did you have to modify the wires to the injectors or will they work without any fabrication?

Will these injectors work with the stock fuel rail and wiring harness? Thanks.
