Longer stroke by 10%. As a result, lower redline or the piston speed would have to be even higher than the already insanely high speed of the F20c.

So, chemical, who is this mechanic that built it for you. Got a website, or a contact number. I'd really like to find out more about this build.

Sorry a little of topic: Touge means Pass in japanese. Uselly refered to a Mountain pass in Japanese. That tells me one thing, Chem you have been watching to much Anime (japanese animation). Also if its a Downhill race your looking for and you Live in SoCal, I have a Friend with a carrolla (stock) That would be happy to race.

My advice? I suggestion you learn how to spell and type. After that, we can talk.

Better, but far from 100%. Did you mean "Is that spelled good, teacher" or "Is that spelled, good teacher"? Just asking. I use the comma just for emphasis.

well if its a 2.2 block with 2.0 internals then wouldnt really just be a 2.0 with no real power gains?

A 2.2 block with 2.0 internals would be a total screwup. In the least, I would expect compression problems.

So, the guy has no website? He got a phone number? How about an address? Why the secrecy? There's not too many mechanics that are well versed on the S2k, so I'm sure the members here and the 5,000 or so at S2ki.com would be interested in someone with such skill in rebuilding the engine.

i still dont see what im missing. If the blocks are the same. And he just put the ap1 crank rods and pistons into the ap2 block then wouldnt he have just turned the 2.2 into a 2.0? If that is true which i think it is he will not have gained any power from this. On a side note why would you take it to a "tech" at a muffler shop they may be able to weld nicely but ive yet to see one thats good at wrenching if they were theyd be making oodles of money at a dealership instead of changing oil and welding up mufflers

SRT-4's can be quick. Once that snail gets spooled up, they will pull that's for sure.

Well, i do not know if I need to intentionally screw up the punctuation and become part of this dysfunctional but extremely funny group, assuming the thread is still active, but since the purpose of this entire discussion, other than providing comic relief to some of us observers (and I mean that in a very friendly way), I do have a race story that may mean something to someone here. I recently bought an 04 sc s2k because it seemed like a good idea at the time. Actually, a close friend asked me to take it since he was buying some ultimate driving machine m6 or something. Who cares anyway? The first time i drove the s2k it was on a local freeway and I had the top down and was doing approx 75 in a 65 posted area. The normal custom is to only cite motorists when they exceed 11 or over. It was mid morning and I was not really paying attention to events occuring behind me. I was focused on seeing if I could increase the sound of the sound system so I could hear some ACDC music better. When I look in my rear view and side mirrors, there is this big hulking black BMW that seemed to be within inches of my rear bumper. This continued for a little while and since I was in no hurry, I elected to signal to switch over to the middle lane of the three lane freeway. Well, even before I could even safetly move to the center lane, the BMW driver just guns his motor big time. Remember, I am experiencing quite a bit of wind noise since the top was down and I was going 75. Well, I kind of took offence to this bullshit and decided to see how fast this little silver s2k could accellerate and maybe show the bmw driver that his car was not the god he obviously assumed it to be. So, I shifted into 3rd gear and floored it. At redline I then shifted into 4th with still wot and then continued to keep it going at wot till I shifter into 5th. This is not my normal driving conduct and so I was totally focused on ensuring the safety of avoiding any collisions with vehicles ahead of me which required me to to change lanes a couple of times. I finally looked in my mirrors and the bmw was at least 100 yards back of me. Then I looked at my speedometer which digitally displayed my car's speed at 139 miles per hour. Wow. I slowed down really fast. I never did see what brand of BMW the other car was but a few experts on those cars have told me that it was probably 5 series and not designed for high speed driving. I have no idea other than the prick needs to keep some safety space between the cars travelling in front of him. I know this is not the most exciting racing occurance that you all are used to hearing but it was my first one with my little honda sports car. Ironically, the very next week I received a photoradar ticket for traveling 12 over the posted 40 miles per hour speed limit. I hope the grammer and punctuation provided herein is not to offensive for the members who must be professors of english. Anyway, I wish you all well, stay healty and lets make 07 a very fun and prosperous year for all.

Hi bud! Yeah that would have been a nice treat. But i think it was just a new 5 something model. I really do not know those kinds of cars. But I certainly don't think it was an M6. That is what my friend bought who sold me the s2k!

Take care
