I dont own an S2k yet, but the difference in any car before and after with stabilizer bar is typically pretty noticeable. As for the filter, i dont know.

Thank you very much, it seems like a fairly inexpensive add on for the value.

the air filter you wont notice because the stock one is pretty good. the stabilizer bar I could notice on mine and felt it was worth it.

It is generally believed that the strut tower brace (STB) on an S2000 does VERY little to improve handling. Basically it is for looks. I have had them and am on my third, but I don't think it does a lot because our chassis is so stiff to begin with. Most people feel an Xbrace does more to improve handling.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

I meen nothing against Lance but the one who says it doesnt do much is the owner of a s2k, that has done the mod more then once. The one that says it does work does not own the s2k yet. I think lance is right for most cars but this is not most cars it handles very very well as is.

It does handle great doesn't it. I have wanted an S2K for a long time and just purchased mine last week. I just want to tweek it a little. I ordered a K&N filter to replace the standard one. By the way, what if I left the air cover off with the new filter. Do you think that will add more air or just suck hot air from the engine?

Yeah, my experience is with other cars, and the S2K does seem pretty stiff to begin with. Personally, i would get one, even if it was a small gain because i like to have as much handling as possible, but the S2k doesnt really need one.

How is the handling improvement with the X-brace, is it worth the added weight?

I'd say leave the S as is. Best handling upgrade would be wheels/tires/suspension(as in coilovers). BUT those are the expensive stuff. And s2000isu I think everyone has another car for speed, I've got my drop top DSM hahaha...
