I currently do not own a S2000. But I am wandering what I should save my money for when I do get one. I wanted to get comptech supercharger, intake, header, and exhaust. What other brands are there that are built for the Vtech. I was wandering will the 04-05 supercharger fit on an 07?
Any suggestions would be helpfull.

No, the '07 is drive by wire and the '04-'05 are not. The SC for the '06-'07 is almost $7,000. You might as well go with a turbo for that cost.

Don't know how this blog stuff runs, but I have a 2002 S2K with a vortechsupercharger. It gives great power but has a studdering problem at times. My instincts go with it being the Mass Air Flow Sensor but don't know for sure. If anyone can help me that would be great.

It's all in the tuning. (echo) Standalone is great if you go crazy on N/A or FI down the line, otherwise it's marginal for the amount you pay for basic bolt-ons. Running a NEO myself with I/H/TP/E on MY01, +14hp & +4tq.

I would need a better description of the symptoms to help you. Does it do it early in the morning, late in the day, under hard acceleration or soft, in all gears, does it do it a lot or just a couple times, etc.

I recommend doing a search on other S2000 forums, especially S2KI to read up more on modifications and final gears.

Richmond Gears, Motorklasse, Isuzu OEM for starters...

Otherwise, bolt-ons depends on how deep your pocket is and where you're going with...

Just research, your project car will be a reflection of you.

Youre all over the place. One post you are going turbo the next post you are turbo the next post youre building one for 2 grand the next post you can build one for 1500. Either youre making stories up and cant keep the same story from minute to minute or you have a problem with your tenses.

I already said if you build a turbo setup with either a used turbo or one of the xs power turbos that lasts 2 weeks some dsm injectors the cheapest manifold on ebay a v-afc you might be able to turbo it. Itll only last for a few weeks but you will have shown me. You really need to go standalone for tuning and the cheapest route there is a mega squirt.

I am very interested in the turbo build as well. Please keep us advised as to the money spent (receipt pictures), dyno results (pics of the dyno sheet) and drivability (video).

And a turbo (I love turbos), by the time you buy the parts, pay for the fabrication and tuning and strengthen the drive train, because when you have it your going to use it. Will cost between $8k-$15k.

Equal amounts of boost (apples to apples), you don't need to strengthen the drive line. Thus the cost would be about the same. If you go with a higher boost than the SC systems put out, then yes, you will spend more on the diff, clutch, etc.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
