Hoosier A06
I purchased a set of AP1 stockies and the last owner had Hoosier A06s on them which I just had removed. Last owner claims about 25% left on the tires. Is there a way to check?
I'd like to sell them since I purchased the rims for some blizzaks. So I'm also kind of stabbing in the dark for a fair price too. Any help is appreciated, including ribbing from java. Thanks. |

Not for nothin' Con, but if he's claimin' 25% it's likely less, n' that ain't even worth the effort'a somebody mountin' 'em, let alone payin' for 'em.
Put a depth gauge to the tread. 'Depth gauge don't lie. Be well. Java (When you least expect it pal)

Your wisdom is sound when dealing with tires that have tread. These are radial slicks for autox. Based on what I see on them, there's nothing really to put a tread gauge into let alone a quarter.
(Thank you sir, may I have another?) |

Funny thing about that question, I never really inspected the tires. I found a small square hole on one of the fronts, it's about an eighth of an inch deep. I'll probably need to look at the rears since they wear faster.
Thanks for the insight on what to look for. c |
