1/4 mile again
So I took the s to the track. I wanted to see what it would do with the sc. My first run was a 15 flat at 106 hahahaha. When I launched it wheel hopped very very badly so badly the radio cover popped open and it popped outa gear I then put it in 2nd gunned it and it popped out again because of wheel hop. Second run I had horrible wheel hop again to the point I had to get off the gas ran a 14 flat at 111. Third run I took off from the tree like id leave a traffic light then gunned it got a 2.2 60 but when i shifted hard into second it grabbed drove 10 feet the wheel hopped bad so I had to get off the gas ran a 13.6 at 109. 4th and final run I lowered my tire pressure alot launched at 4k rpm got a 2.2 60 foot time ran a 13 flat in the quarter at 112.
So the bad news is me and my tires suck at launching the good news is im getting awesome trap speeds.

Thanks it s fun. I cant believe the difference 7 psi in the rear tires made. I honestly think if I lowered pressure when I first started racing and the track was better I woulda been in the 12's easy.
Go is 112 a higher trap speed then most s2k's with stock sc kits? I was expecting around 109.

ya wheel hopping is no good. Once I lowered the tire pressure to 21 it was great.

I have no idea. Having never taken my S to the drag strip, I have don't know. Not a big drag racing fan, sorry.

When my buddy used to drag race, he used to put his rears down to 12 psi and ran incredible times. That was a Rustang and it was back in the mid-90's.
