launching rpm
I have raced couple times at drag track. I have 225 tires rear(brand new), so everytime I launch the tires spin out and the car starts to swirl for couple of seconds left and right. I have launched from 4-5000 rpm but it still doesn't stick. Is it my tires because most s2000 have 245 rear or is it my technique. I rev it up and as it goes up I let the clutch. I tried at 2000 rpm but as soon as I let the clutch go the car stops and then starts so I know it has to be higher revs. So let me know what I need to change my technique or the tires.

Well I would put on the 245s on the rear for better traction to start with. (But if you want to drift the 225s might work better). I havent tried to drag to much but best I found is around 3k on the rev up. This isnt a drag car its a track car so you might just rip out the diff if you keep it up.
