Here's a 2JZ-swapped S2000 on CarDomain... I asked this guy how much it cost him to do the swap. He said $16,000.
Edit: A link would probably be nice...

Alodda back-n'-forth over that 2JZ when it first went public.
It might seem like a great thing from a distance (The guy did do a terrific job. 'Really pro-lookin' n' extremely neat.) but after all the smoke cleared, I think most'uv us'd be longin' fer our ol' Stewie'z abilities back. 'Kind'a like takin' somethin'z efficient'z a fencin' epee n' addin' 15 lbs. tooitt so you could muscle n' slash it aroun' like a claymore. Same'z 'at'd be a sad loss'uv'a beautifully balanced efficient weapon, 2JZ'n Stewie'd be a sad loss'uv'a beautifully balanced efficient sportscar. The previous is, a'course, life accordin' ta Java n' all disclaimer rayz've been engaged ta protect the innocent. Java

There's a guy on s2ki.com that is putting a LS1 SS Camaro engine in his S. Looks so sick but not done yet. He said he was shooting for Nov.

Guilty'z charged Sonic.
When I first came on board n' got inta the "adjustment period" regardin' Stewie'z lack'a downstairs, I was plottin' the overthrow'uv the stock engine for a while myownself. Thankfully I'm busy with other things (N' it probably didn't hurt that I'm no ball-a'-fire either.) n' I rediscovered the fun'a drivin' somethin' other than a musclecar. Fer the most part, we're very unsatisfiable creatures. Be well, Java

type in 2jz on youtube.com and there is a video of some guys that can do it for 16grand out of florida. you could try ad find a salvage s2k or one with no engine and then put the 2jz into it.

As I said before most people with some mechanical knowledge could do the 2jz swap for well under 10 grand. Its like doing a v8 swap to a s10

Dunno isu, the flicks that I seen'a of that one that was on our site looked a whole lot more labor intensive than a V8 into a li'l Jimmy. The Getrag (sp?) fit alone looked like the equivalent work involved in fittin' a bigger V8 into a 4 banger space.
But if you say so I'll go with it. You're alot more current with that kind'a thing than I am. While I don't know beans, I believe that you're on a first name basis with 'im. Java

I prolly dont know any more than you on the subject. Just looking at the pictures it seems like the motor would go right in without having to cut much. I didnt see if they needed to cut alot out of the firewall to get the trans in but I would think that would be the hardest part. I could be wrong and it could be the hardest swap out there but im not gonna be the one to find out
