Drive better. There isn't a 'chip' for the S that works. A VAFC may get you a few WHP and some tq., but better driving is cheaper. If you want better 0-60 times, buy something with more tq. to start with.

I'm thinking that the S2000's 0-60 time is already waaaay more than respectable. You just have to know how to make your feet and hands make the magic.
Like GM3 says, drive better. Besides, how long do you think it'll take you to put it in the trees if you add even 100 horsepower? jagg |

Chips wont do any big difference unless your car has a turbo/SC stock. (Then it might, depending on model)
The best way for you to get faster is also in my opinion gears. Thats cheapest and reliable. Myself I don't like the idea of having the car reving more at normal cruise speeds so I am putting ~3000-4000 dollars on a turbo setup. I have asked some questions etc about it in the forced induction section. My idea with getting the turbo setup is not to run around in the town and race people, I do it 50% because I want to learn and feel how it is to build your own setup, and 50% for making the car more fun overall. Still I love it stock. I see it as my own investment in knowledge, since carmods hardly can be seen as an investment otherwise Last edited by Wheazel : 03-28-2008 at 01:41 AM. |

Why do people buy a scalpel and then try to turn it into a sledgehammer?
