How fast?
I have driven my s2k up to 130 miles per hour with a passenger in the car with me. What is the fastest (miles per hour) anyone has driven their s2k? 'Just curious.

When I was in a caravan on the way to S2000 homecoming I hit 140 trying to keep up with some of the guys. It scared the ever-lovin-buh-jezsus outta me. I slowed to 90 and don't think I went over that the rest of the trip...

jagg: how many fps does that .17 make at the muzzle? now that is fast.
170 miles per hour: pssssssht... mine is like spitzer's girl friend; it's got a governor on it--55 miles per hour top speed.

138. I was racing my friends chipped Jetta IV running 19psi and was ahead of him about 4 car lengths. We went passed a sheriff caught up in traffic(my way was clear of cars, but his was packed) and took the next turn to wait in a neighborhood. He almost hit me while taking the turn cause he couldn't control his car with the understeer. I had to brake. Thats the last time I'll probably go that fast.

So how many RPMs were you turning? A supercharger won't change the redline and 170 is way beyond making shrapnel. Sorry, this one is hard to believe.

Ok guys don't laugh and remember I have only had my S2K since december-----72mph!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that I have a lot of fun, really enjoy myself, think the car is really sexy and I drive like a grandma!!!! (I don't think I look like one and I certainly feel like a grandma!) I have wanted an S2K since I saw one in 1999 (the first year I think), and my husband would say that the car was too powerful for me, my son would say it was a waste for someone that drives like I do. There may be a driving lesson in my future, but until then I doubt that I will drive too fast. No matter I love the car, it is a blast to drive, it is just plain fun even without the speed.---------------J

As long as you're having fun and driving within your comfort zone Joyce, why should it matter what the speedo was clockin' you at? You've got the right idea my dear.....Kudos.

That would be a one time thing probably, 2:00 in the morning on the interstate goin to Atlanta, no one for miles. My comfort level only goes to 135. Then the pucker facter comes into play.
