the jokes may start up man. Reason why is launching this car isnt really what this car is built for. Its not a drag car, its a track car. You launch you might be replacing the diff.

Rev to about 4500 and hold it. Then when the light turns green let the clutch out quickly but not all the way. Ride the clutch just to make it hook then stomp it. This whole process should happen in under 2 sec. Don't ride the clutch too long or you will burn it up.

I've seen a guy's video launching in VTEC. It sounded pretty cool, but I wouldn't recommend it or try it myself. The S2000's rear differential is a weak spot. SoundMan has already mentioned it But if you want to do it anyway just remember one thing "DO NOT DUMP THE CLUTCH" and you should be OK!

I forgot to metion that AP2 has CDV. It'll save your differential from a hard launch, but not good for the clutch!

I prefer a trebuchet, but you can use to big oak trees and a giant rubber band......

Thanks for the info guys. I don't plan on doing it often, but just wanted to know, when I finally decide to take it to the strip.
