Going Racing again..

Hey All,
as you can see i am off to the autocross yet again, hopefully i will not be the only S2K there, but again i will post pic's and video for all to enjoy....

Okay, here it is, wonderfully warm sunny day, i had a couple of good runs, and a couple of oops, ran over a few cones, spun out, but all and all it was again a blast, this track was longer and got to open her up a little, i was again the only rep for the S2000, the course was loads of fun, which the videos will show, (and yes Java, cameramom was on the job), but it was windy so the videos might sound funny....enjoy.... i know i did...

it is a blast, this time i actually did pretty good, the fastest time was a Z06 with a 51.something, and my fastest was 59.623, so i was not to far off, not bad for having almost 200hp less, but i get better each match so by the end of the year i should be able to hang with the big boys, maybe.....

sorry Java, i kept trying to hit them, but alass i would somehow miss them, i will try harder next time, btw, the cameramom missed the really cool 360 i did...

On our course today, I never had to shift out of first until the last little straight away to the finish. Not the best course design, that's for sure.

i got to second a few times,as you can hear, i actually used the shifting to slow myself around the turns, learning more about my car every race, what she will and will not do, i did find out about the limits of the steering and how she reacts at speed....but it was a blast.....

i just checked the standings and i actually got 1st in class for A stock novice, i beat out my friends Z06, RX-8, Acura TL, and a MR2....update, they have me in Super Stock novice, not A stock, but either way i still got 1st, i keep this up and next year i will be able to maybe give the big boys a little scare......

i was kinda suprised that they actually put me in SSN, next race will be a SCCA event, any advice GO that you might pass on?
