Uncle Bens

I thought I would start an ongoing Rice thread in here, just for Sheets and Giggles.

I have a billion contributions; I thought I would start it with an S2K related pic, but let me see what you've got!!! Bonus points is it's a pic you've taken!!!

Why is the formula drift car in the uncle bens thread? Last time I checked cars built to race have all those ugly stickers on them. Its called advertising for sponsors.

.. Didn't say that I said its a difference in taste. Rice to me is cheap useless mods usually can be put on "any" car such as "universal" parts. Those cars that you posted most of the parts installed have been tested in wind tunnels and proven to be worthy track parts... Now is it little stupid that they have them on the road for every day cars and not on the track... thats matter of opinion, but I wouldn't say rice.

Agreeing with RL and Mutant here. That Civic & Eclipse are prime examples of rice. It's the stuff that just doesn't belong on your car anyway, or it's stuff that you pick up from pep boys, etc. If you're going to modify your car, spend the money and do it right. Those S2000s did that - the stuff they're wearing mostly functional and proven, and, is not cheap! The Civic and Eclipse were done on a low budget. When you're in that position, it's better to just leave the car stock. Don't mess it up with all this cheap, goofy looking crap.

The one exception to that rule is lambo doors. Yes, they're expensive, but that does not IN ANY WAY mean it's okay to put them on your car. Ever.
