future 619 S2k owner

I posted this in the welcome section, but I didn't realize there was a regional section. So I thought I'd post it again here. Maybe get some local input. Hey all. Just introducing myself to the community, since I will be buying an s2000 next September ( hopefully an NFR or GPW). I wish I could sell my 03 MazdaSpeed Protege right now for the S, but I'm deploying in Feb, so I think it would be smart to just wait until I get back. Ive been looking for a sportier car. A true sports car. After all the hours and hours of reading different forums and driving different cars, Ive damn near made up my mind.f I havnt been able to get my hands on one to test drive, due to not many s2ks being sold in my area. But a test drive is the last determining factor for me buying the S2000 lol ( definatly beat out the 350z/ g35). I likes the torque, but it just felt too bulky and bulldogish the time that i drove a friends. Not very sporty. Since I don't exactly know the limits and capabilities of the S, going the FI route may come far down the line. I was m.ore interested in a driving school to get comfortable with the cars, and to get into AutoX. Anyways, that's the end of my introduction and rambling on. I look forward to being more active on the forums and fully joinging the S club later, maybe even meet some of the local members. Holla Ps.
