I posted this in the welcome section, but I didn't realize there was a regional section. So I thought I'd post it again here. Maybe get some local input.
Hey all. Just introducing myself to the community, since I will be buying an s2000 next September ( hopefully an NFR or GPW). I wish I could sell my 03 MazdaSpeed Protege right now for the S, but I'm deploying in Feb, so I think it would be smart to just wait until I get back. Ive been looking for a sportier car. A true sports car. After all the hours and hours of reading different forums and driving different cars, Ive damn near made up my mind.f
I havnt been able to get my hands on one to test drive, due to not many s2ks being sold in my area. But a test drive is the last determining factor for me buying the S2000 lol ( definatly beat out the 350z/ g35). I likes the torque, but it just felt too bulky and bulldogish the time that i drove a friends. Not very sporty.
Since I don't exactly know the limits and capabilities of the S, going the FI route may come far down the line. I was m.ore interested in a driving school to get comfortable with the cars, and to get into AutoX.
Anyways, that's the end of my introduction and rambling on. I look forward to being more active on the forums and fully joinging the S club later, maybe even meet some of the local members. Holla
Ps. If anyone has any experiance or knowledge with the evo driving school in socal, or any other schools in the socal area, please feel free to pm me or chime in.
