New Home for San Diego Chapter!!

Welcome San Diego, people!! S2000.com has been very generous to give us our own little sub-forum where we can post and plan get-togethers and drives on our great mountain roads.

You may have read elsewhere about our 2 annual Palm Springs Drives held in November, drives on Palomar Rd, Thursday night get-togethers at Fusion (people from S2ki) on Clairemont Mesa Blvd, and the 20-some people that came to my house from as far away as Colorado and Arizona, for a BBQ last summer. Now, all the details for these and others will be posted here, so stay tuned. And a big thanks to S2000.com for giving us a new home!!

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked about it too. Hell...I may have to organize something in the coming weeks to celebrate the coming of Spring

I had made a thread on S2KCA saying the Chapter was now here and they zapped it in about 15 minutes saying that I was recruiting members and it was detrimental to the club.

I'm just now getting caught up on everything and starting to make the move over here. Thanks for giving us the heads up to this site. I'd love to make a trip down your way and see you and Jen again. Keep us posted on up coming events.

Dude, welcome, but it's a 14 month old thread! If you're looking for activity from the SD folks go to the SD section of the West region forum and there's lots going on.

I'm intrigued. If its as big as it seems I might be in. I have two weeks of PTO time (vacation leave) I need to get rid of before the end of February. I have driven to LA and back on a few occasions within 21 hours - not bad. Its gotta be worth the drive though. Never been to San Diego before. I would like to meet a lot of you guys.

Hey Chris. There is definitely more activity on S2ki. They are about 1000x larger altogether. We have a nice small group that posts here. We do drives regularly and we usually post them on S2ki as well. I am good friends with Hockey on S2ki. He pulls from that site and I pull from this as well as using my small San Diego Car Club site. All together, we get a good size group of usually less than 10 cars on and one drive. Keep yourself posted for future drives and events.
