Just got a call from John saying he might not be able to do this Saturday. Todd also said it is going to be hotter than hell because it's in the desert. Considering I don't even know where Idylwild is, I'm not sure we can do this. John said he'll call me later in the week. We may have to shelve it this weekend.

I have mapped it, but there just does not seem to be much interest from the group.

Actually we drove through the edge of Idylwild on our Palm Springs run last October, its in the mountains around the same elevation as Palomar. The road up has passing lanes that are slightly banked ... and rather fun!

I am going to have to sit this one out too, my son gets out of Rock N Roll camp on Saterday and I have got to see him in concert at 12:00. Darn it! But hopefully see you all at the S2000 homecomming or before if we have an August drive.

That works for me and if everyone would rather do Palomar again due to its more central rendezvous point that is fine by me
