Ok...everyone has basically voted to move this back one week so that everyone can participate. How about suggestions for the drive?

1. Jullian then Palomar meet at 7:00 instead of 8:00 reverse of last trip
2. Meet at Comfort Inn off of Cal Oaks in Murrieta then head up to Idylwild
3. Some other trip any ideas!

I was going to recommend us meeting early because it got way too hot last trip, I love the Palomar drive but I'm open for anything

How about we meet at the usual spot at 7:00 am this time and head to Jullian first for breakfast. Then, up the back way to Mt. Palomar to Mothers for a rest and from there up to the Mt. Palomar Observatory for a group photo, basically the reverse of last months run. How does that sound to everyone else?

Hey Chazdawg35 There are but this weekend will be a Saturday run as that is what most people prefer to do on our little get togethers. If you can make it come on out.

Nooo ... we are meeting at the 15 and 76 at 7:00 am. A little further north for you Cosmo. There is a large parking lot behind the Mobil station off of 15 & 76, that is where we join up.

Good drive today, but not as good as last time. We should try the 7 AM meet and do the Mountain first and then on to breakfast to see if we can get a better happy medium of the two. Anyone else have a close call coming down the south grade? I went into one hairpin a bit too fast and started to slide with an oncoming car right on the yellow line. It was a little closer than I wanted it. I tend to be a bit more conservative going downhill.

I had a really close call coming down south grade, I fishtailed into the other lane. All in all I had a really great time, I'm with Vinny we should meet early and hit the south grade first going up thats always a fun one.

By the way what date did we set for next month?? I think John said around the 18th

Yea, I must admit that going down I got a little loose more than once. How about this months run? August 18th meet at 7:00 am do Vinnys suggestion and hit the high side first then into jullian... Any takers?

Works for me. I have a wedding on August 11 and hosting the BBQ on the 25th, or wecould do John's idea of Idylwild from before.
