Hello SD drivers
Just wanted to say hi. I live in chula vista and just took delivery on a 2002 s. I guess I have bad timing since, I won't be able to make it to the homecoming, but will definitely make an effort to go on the next group drive. I've posted a couple of times on the other s2k forums, but nobody seems too friendly. I'll admit the car was a spontaneous buy, but I've had the car itch since I sold my mr2 turbo 2 years back to be "responsible" and bought a house. So far I'm just looking to keep the car mostly stock (the car only has 9k miles). Anyone else in the chula vista area? I'm looking for a good mechanic, to help me with basic maintenance stuff, coolant flush, swap all fluids, compression test, and here's the big one... remove a dry NOS setup. All replies are appreciated. I've been ignored in the other forums for some unknown reason.

Hey Wasabiman,
I live down here in Chula Vista. I have a guy that does all the maintenance on my car and would probably welcome the chance to do your work as well. His name is Ryan Calvert and he is a Honda/Porsche specialist. He recently changed my motor mount right in his garage. Only took about 30 minutes. Don't forget to check ou the other threads in the San Diego forum. We're pretty active with posting and going on drives. Vinny |
