Sorry guys, not gonna make this one. Took a shift at my old urgent care clinic...1-5. Looks like the rain/snow will keep us off the road anyway. Next one, though! (any chance for a Sunday drive? I took the 1-5 shift for the Saturdays in Feb, too)

Accodring to Weathecom, weather looks to be clear in the morning, but the temperatures are going to be around freezing. PM rain for Palomar on Saturday. No rain for Idylwild until Sunday. Check in again around 6 PM.

Well, It looks like the rain according to Weather.com for Murrieta is going to start in the afternoon, I don't know about Idylwild, we could meet up as planned and if it looks to threatening we could.

1. meet, greet and eat and see what happens with the weather. At least that way we could put faces with names.

2. blow it off entirely. What do you guys want to do? Chime in

I have to be at a client by 3 PM, so it looks like we just need to be careful with possible ice. I'm in if everyone else is going. I'm not putting on the RA-1's for the run. Leaving the Goodyear's on this time.

Great drive today except for the gravel on the way to Idyllwild. John sand blasted my windshield for me. I picked the wrong day to forget to put on the bra.

Great drive on 74 and Mesa Grande and up East Grade. I think passing all the slow cars on the 2 lane road was the most difficult challenge.

I could have driven faster in reverse than the boneheads in the Echo and the pickup truck going down South Grade.

I think I did close to 300 miles today.

You didnt hit the traffic that we hit on the way back to the 15. This one G35 was takin turns at 30mph

We were doing less than 20 miles per hour down South Grade.

Did you guys take a wrong turn by accident? We had a blast on Mesa Grande and then East Grade.

Nah wasn't a mistake. You guys were heading farther south. We headed back North. I blew a full tank of gas today if you include the drive there and home

Yea today was a good time except for the gravel (sorry Vinny) and some of the BEM's (Booger Eating Morons). Yea we headed north as you guys went south. How about next month we meet at 76 and I/15 and do the drive in reverse, some of the drive on 74 after breakfast was truly breathtaking. Morgan I have your radio I hope you don't need it to soon, if so give me a shout and perhaps we can meet up. Nice meeting you Eli, David, Julius ... Oh wow I forgot the name of your friend Julius sorry! Be safe all and lets plan another for February. I am free any Saturday except the 23rd.

John, we are doing our own wine tour the weekend before in Napa Valley with Perry & Andie, Walter & Jaleen, Mike McLaughlin & Kate, and maybe a few others. It's informal, no registration cost, no raffle. Just friends wine tasting and driving.
