Where is this in relation to our normal meeting spot off of 15 / 76?

Well is there any chance that some of yous guys may want to get together a little sooner than that? I am thinking of just going on a little run this Saturday since the weather is supposed to be beautiful.

My tires can't take another run so quickly. My RA-1's are close to being smooth on the center tread and I need them for Laguna Seca in 3 weeks. They will be shot after that track day. My rear Goodyears are showing quite a bit of wear already from the Winter Wine Tour we did in Napa 2 weeks ago where I drove 1500 over the whole weekend.

I'm expecting that Laguna Seca, the drive on March 22, and a drive in April will be the last for me for a while because of shoulder surgery. I won't be able to drive stick for a while.

Gettin my car detailed the weekend of the 22nd and got the Spugen BBQ on the 29th.

Vinny Morg? We don't have to make it a very spirited run just take a nice drive up for breakfast and take a few Pictures. I am going through withdrawels since Mike and I took his WWT08 "Support Vehicle" (CRV) this last weekend due to rain, who is in for meeting at the
15 / 76 lot at 7:00 Am this Saturday March 1st? Chime In.

Hmmmm....I don't know if I can trust myself to NOT turn onto our normal route to rip through it, kinda like an addiction. If it's there tempting me, I'll probably give in.

If I do go, you have to promise me that you'll lead. That will keep my speed down

What route are you planning on taking?

Hey Vin,

We could do the reverse of what we did last drive with everyone and go the back way into Idylwild from 79 to 371 to 74 or , just shoot on up into Jullian and do our usual return run. I will lead if you want someone to be slower so the "Speed Demons don't get you

I have to see if I can make it I hate to miss out on a run, I don't know if I can justify blowing through 3 tanks of gas and a windshield in two weeks, money is tight so I'll see, I really hate missing a run

Great drive yesterday! We did a lot of roads. I was gone 10 hours and did 250 miles by the time I got home. On the way home, I ventured off to find a few other roads, but didn't come up with anything except dead ends.

The weather was could have been better in the morning, but once we got to the top of Palomar, we had great weather.

John and I even stopped off and did some wine tasting after our apple pie lunch in Julian. We both got a bottle of Sangiovese. We're thinking of trying of finding a way to do a Winter Wine Tour in the area so that we can incorporate all the roads.

I had an awesome time guys

thanks John and Vinny for the breakfast and apple pie (the pie kinda sucked but at least it was in good company

) after we parted I went the reverse and drove around stopped off at that old church on the 76 by Mesa Grande to check out the grave yard, that is one beautiful place I think I spent 45 minutes there
drove Mase Grande got back on east grade and got some really cool pics at the top of palomar of the clouds all the way to the ocean

all in all I was driving around for around 3 1/2 hours when I left the group

oh yeah I got to pet a calf in the fields on Mesa Grande, I didn't really see anyone till the 76 and the 15 spot it was really cool almost felt like the last person on earth it was great

Driving back home along the 78, I saw a lot of gutted homes and burnt areas from the fires a few months ago. A lot of people had campers or RV's parked next to the slab that their house once stood.

Aaron great to have you along my friend, you should join us more often and the sound your car makes with the exhaust and Fujita intake is music to my ears.

John, we have all the roads. What we need is know where all the good wine tasting places are so we can incorporate them into the roads. Maybe we should go wine tasting one weekend soon to find out which ones are the best. We'll need at least 6 wineries.

We can split the roads easily between 2 days. We could do something like:

Saturday: A Temecula winery
Drive Mesa Grande, Wynola, & Farmer Rd
Lunch in Julian
Winetasting where we went Saturday
Back to Temecula for the last winery.

Sunday: Wine tasting in Temecula
DeLuz Rd
Lunch at the Italian place
Another winery
Palomar South & East Grade
Head back to Temecula for the last winery.
