June Drive - 6/28/08

I know it's kinda last minute, but with me not knowing how I would recover from surgery and then the site going down for a few days, it has turned into last minute planning. So, if anyone is interested in a good drive this Saturday, the meeting spot will be Deer Springs Rd and I-15 at 7 AM.

We'll do the same route as last time. It never gets old.

Hey Vinny,

Carolyn has to work Saturday but ... she may be able to switch her shift with someone for possibly doing dinner...more to follow.

Vinny, Carolyn could not switch her shift so we will need to do dinner at a later date. What is the plan for the drive Saturday Jullian or Idylwild?

Good drive today. Not much traffic. It was only Morgan and I (and Jen). So, because there were only 2 cars, we hit all the normal roads on the way to Julian and then ventured all the way to Borrego Springs on Mountain Valley Rd. Found a great section of that road before turning around. Did some more road searching for future drives, but came up empty, so we turned around and did the early morning route in the reverse direction. I drove a total of 350 miles today.

Geez, figures I check the boards late...missed out on some fun driving it sounds like. Did a little "research" of my own. 74 to 243 to Banning and return. Pretty fun, a little hot! Let me know the next time you all take a drive, I'd love to hook up with you all!
