May Drive - Sat May 30?

Talked to S2kx2 on the phone and I told him I would throw up a post on the next drive. John can't go on the 23rd and I have a wedding to go to, so the 30th seems like a good day.

Anybody in?

Got a call from Bob Hallett today. He's going to join the drive in his 911.

there was a fire out near our starting point, I forgot the name of the canyon road and lilac, so we need to be careful of the road conditions and clean up crews

Morg, how close do you live to Lilac and Couser Canyon? Are you close enough to cruise over and check it out?

Perhaps with the issue mentioned we would be better off meeting up at the 15/76 junction. Just a suggestion.

Cool.

Morgan, I would have kicked your butt if you had traded in for that 4,000 lb bohemoth. I mean, if you added it and kept the S too, that would be ok.

We would have to give you a 30 minute head start on the drive and I would still pass you before the end of South Grade Rd.

Well the Challanger is COOL looking, but in my opinion that would make a FAST drag car with many mods.

Yea Dude talk about CRAZY! This morning I went to work and the first car a had to work on was a Challanger R/T. I put a Magna Flow Cat back on it, LOUD! I was talking to the owner and he said the car was cool on the freeway but a little LAZY on the turns.

Decent, laid back drive today. There were only 3 of us that showed up. It was wet until a few miles before South Grade and then the clouds broke and it was sunny, warm, dry, and no clouds up the mounatin and all the way to Julian. We didn't do the route in reverse. One guy split at the 78 and didn't go to breakfast. So the other guy went to breakfast and then I drove down the 78 to 67 back to Chula Juana.
