New (used) Transmission
WOO-HOO...I got a tip on someone selling a transmission on S2ki in perfect working order with only 48k miles on it for only $200 up in Riverside. Paid $210 with Paypal fees. Driving up Friday to pick it up. I am STOKED!!

No, I needed it. My car has been in the shop for over 2 months now.
My mechanic, who is an awesome tech for everything for Hondas, Porsches, and race cars is great for regular stuff, but he isn't a transmission specialist. So, he thought he had everything fixed from all the parts I bought, but when he got it back in there, he heard a whining noise coming from it. I asked hoim to make sure it wasn't my wife he was hearing  When I went over to listen the next day, it took me a minute or so to be able just to get the car into a gear and then it lurched forward an inch when I let the clutch out while in neutral. So, something was wrong.

Picked up the transmission tonight. Took my mechanic with me. Everything looks good. Should have my car back before the end of the weekend. WOO-HOO!!

Stoked...got "Flash" back tonight. Man, I can't believe how stiff my clutch is. I have to go for a drive before I "go on a drive" this weekend to get used to it again.
