Thumbs up Newbie S2K driver in Glendale AZ

Hey all!! I just bought my 2005 Suuka Blue S2000 on Wed. Love it so far!! Trying to get use to this nimble little roadster. I just put on a color match Honda Wing Spoiler. Really dessed her up nicely. I have a bit of a clutch slippage issue above 6000 RPM when shifting up a gear. It is under warranty, so no big deal. I will just have to take her easy till Monday.
I want to do exhaust. I don't want anything retarded loud. I want a nice tone that offers performance. Is Magnaflow a good choice for that? How about Skunk2? Any suggestions?
These are a few I have been tld to look in to. I want to stay between $500 and $750

Also, any suggestions on picking up more low and mid range power WITHOUT turbo, superchager or NOS?

Thanks for reading!!

Well congrats on the car. Yes magnaflow is a good exhaust for what you want. I just a saw a video of one on youtube not to long ago, it was nice. I just ask that you do a search for the other question about mods. I am quite sure you will find any anwsers your looking for. My personal preference for a good big difference mod is gears. Congrats again and enjoy her.

Your clutch slippage might be the clutch delay valve. Welcome to the site.

Thank you both for your input, welcome, and congrats!! I am bringing her back to the dealership on Monday. I am happy you mention that part Controller. I will mention it to the dealership on Monday.
If that part goes bad, would it cause more slippage?
The slippage seems to be getting a bit worse. If I play hard with her, after a while the clutch acts up. It started last night with just normal driving also.

Now get this. I called the dealership and they said that they need to get in to her to see what is causing the problem ad to see who is going to pay for it. Insinuating that I may be responsible!! I about lost it at that point. I only had the car 2 days. I proceeded to tell him that even if I went to the drag strip in those 2 days and ran her, that it would be next to impossible to burn up a clutch with a totally stock motor in that period of time. I also said that I would have no problem dropping her off for good if they were going to try and jerk me around like that. The C**ksuckers tone changed real quick after that.

Thanks again you guy!!!

Welcome to the site and congrats on the car.

Other than getting rear gears for the car, there isn't anything that will give you any real gains in low end or mid range power EXCEPT boost.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
