Lone Star does about 2 official sponsored trackday events with The Drivers Edge per year for the club, so the next one will probably be sometime in spring I would guess.

But most people go throughout the year. The next unofficial outing for us will be on January 24-25 at Texas World Speedway. So far we have 7 confirmed S2000 students, 1 maybe, and 2 S2000 instructors. These are people from Houston. There's always a few S2000s from Austin and Dallas as well.

To sign-up for the DE, click here: http://www.thedriversedge.net/ If you're a novice, the cost will be $295 for 2-day weekend (4 sessions/day each lasting 30-minutes of on-track time). It's like having sex but you keep your clothes on

Hey man, i live up in college station, and was actually at the track watching you guys!! You all made my day, that was the first time i had been able to see a bunch of s2k's going around the track, and it makes me want to do it so bad now! I really liked that J's racing one. Thanx for posting the pics, they look great. I also saw the guy with the Mugen one come in, and it looked like his bumper got torn off, that really must of sucked!

haha...I'm the guy with the ripped up Mugen bumper. no worries, I have a backup Mugen bumper

No im not Roy, my name is Trent, i was actually the guy that wanted to trade the replica mugen bumper on s2ki lol. I have never taken my car to that track, only done autoX but next time you all go up i would love to race and you could all give me some advice and stuff like that.

yeah, and we're still waiting for pics of the bumper on s2ki

Come out to TWS on 1/24-25. This is when the next semi-large group of S2ks are coming out. Bring your car out and go out on the free parade laps. Find some instructors or advanced students in the red group for some free seat-time and a wild ride

I think i want to keep it now lol i love the mugen look, and hopefully one day i will be able to afford a real one. Ill deffinatly be out there on the 24th and really look forward to meeting you all. Ill also be sure to introduce myself on the thread you listed.
