faster furiouser four....(movie night)

we all are well aware of the cultural raping our "tuner" scene has suffered due to this franchise butttt im still a car guy and still so going to see it...was wondering who else is game to endure the movie with me. thursday at midnight is first showing. works good cuz all the meets are on thursday....may be able to get a good following of fellow car enthusiasts to the flick.

first... the first movie completely ruined the street scene and our semi-private street races in abandoned industrial areas that were as friendly and safe as any 1/4mi track could be...

second... be careful! i am not taking my car to see this movie though i may go with a group of people on opening night. i envision quite a few car thieves will be present hoping a bunch of nice cars come out and are preoccupied in a theater for 3 hours (lines inside.... previews... movie..etc) so they can try to steal some nice cars or some seats..

F that!!

I watched Ben Hur the other night front to back.
It was awsome.
Granted, Heston is no Vin Diesel, but the hottie that plays Ester is worth the price of admission alone.

Fast and Furious, dear Lord.
I'm sure the novel was quite the pithy read.
I'm dying for it to come out on cable so I could tape it on my VHS and cut out the commercials.

I'm jokin' youngins. Enjoy the film.
I was estatic when Return of the Jedi hit the big screen.

I saw the Fast/Furious series, including Tokyo Drift, on TNT when they hit the network. I can use my imagination for the sake of enjoying a movie but some of the scenes in those movies were a little too far fetched for me to be based, somewhat, on the reality of street racing. I hope you guys enjoy the show, I may wait two years when it hits channel 295 (TNT HD).

I'm planning on going to see it. My expectations aren't too much higher than they were for 2 and 3 after I saw what the original did to the car mod scene, but I'm sure I'll be able to enjoy it in its own right.
