San Marcos auto X 4/19

anyone doing this or a member of Spokes...

I've never been to one of their auto X's and was wondering if anyone was planning on going to this one since this past Sunday's was scheduled on Easter?

I ran a few spokes events last year in my ITR, good group of guys. Very friendly and willing to teach, educate newer drivers. I really miss San Antonio.

I didnt get a chance to go we had some friends from Dallas come down to Austin this past weekend. Plus the STI was being tuned and is FINALLY on the ups with the new Turbo.

Where are you at now?

In Dallas, finishing up school. Use t post on Nabisco, had an 00 Impreza that I sold not too long ago. Like the S2k much more though.

you mean nasioc...

All the people I know or hang with own some sort of Subaru car or Evo. They all love my car but wouldnt want it as a daily driver...

I dont mind it but I dont drive it everyday...

Yep, I guess when they came about with those nasioc decals that looked like the nabisco logo, the name kinda stuck.

My roommate back in SA finally got his 05 Sti out of the shop. He's had so many problems with his different turbo setups. Even though its a 2 seater i think my S is more practical than his 8 mpg sti.

yeah my bf told me thats the inside thing with nasioc ppl.. I guess you can tell I am just the "groupie" I cant seem to find any consistent S2k owners here to hang with so I always find myself hanging with them. I even stopped bringing my car out when we go to meets... pointless i guess.

Is your friend on Nasioc and whats his username...might of met him somewhere along the way.

Hmm, next time im down visiting my girlfriend I'll see if a few friends want to meet up. Our neighbor down there has an S2k as well. Last hill country drive we had was nice, almost 20 s2000's showed.

Where are you located? I'm in Austin and have been trying to find said "S2K Club" for a while. It's never pointless to take the S2K somewhere

this was the first weekend in 5wks I wasnt in Austin but have usually been up there, hanging out with evo's and Sti's though.

i'll possibly be in Dallas weekend of May 30th and then in Austin 6/13... inbetween that i'll be moving and finishing finals and getting thing reorganzied at a new place.

I'm having a horrible time finding something, the one I fell in love with has a horrible rap sheet of vehicle breakins so the S will not be at that location....

i've never gone on a drive with the S...
i've ridden along and took pics of the BMW and Subaru guys on an all day hill country drive.

I want to do the track day 5/23 before I go on any drives to get a better handle on my car... they scurred the h*ll out of me how crazy around those cliffs they were driving i dont know if I could be that courageous.
