Looking for a possible member
I'm looking around on the S2000 forums for a member in the MD area.
A few weeks ago I was tailgated by a white s2000 down route 24 in harford cty, MD. I couldnt go any faster as there was someone in front of me, I had my g/f in the car and due to the nature of my work I cannot endanger others so I let this guy tailgate me and I bit my lip. Then to top it off he finally pulls around me and I look over to admire his car as I've always been a fan of the S2000 and this guy is giving me the thumbs down. Oh man I could have shot him in the face because this guy is a professional at pissing me off now. Once again bit my lip... Anyway I was driving a modified Subaru WRX and I assumed thats the reason for getting the thumbs down because I wasnt driving like an idiot. He was driving a white S2000 with exhaust and there was a white Acura RSX following him closely. That wouldnt happen to be someone on this forum? I know it would have to be the s2000 owner himself reading this unless he brags online about giving people thumbs down.... Anyway I was hoping for grins we could goto a race competition of your desire to see how your car stacks up. I frequent local AutoX events and drag strip but never see this guy.... I'll even pay your entrance fees if you win!!! I'm curious to see that thing in action esp in AutoX as I know they can handle like a cat on carpet. My WRX can easily romp an STI but I dont usually compare to a smaller class... Last edited by Java Junky : 02-16-2008 at 01:07 PM. Reason: Sweepin' up after the new guy. |

Cyn, jus' as somethin' I've learned over too many years, let the nitwit go. 'At's not'ta say we don't all take our turn in the nitwit seat, but it jus' ain't worth the effort n' it's an extremely rare case when the situation finally presents itself for satisfaction. Even then the cost outlay'z never worth it.
Tango on Cyn, tango on. Be well, Java

This is all in good fun I'll remind you. I cant street race as its too big of a risk to my career so I dont get the little satisfactions that most get by the 5 second mini race on the highway. I only get to race friends and family at the drag strip....but never someone that I really want to beat...I guess occasionally I get that guy that talks crap at the strip but thats very rare. Generally everyone is really friendly and not giving me the thumbs down...hahaha
Take care.... |

Get a radar detector. Then you can street race and still have a career. |
